Correa looked pretty funny swinging at that horrible pitch. But, I guess the hit-and-run was on? Or, was it?

I guess he was just totally fooled by that pitch.

A great read by Springer an even better one by Bregman.

Dude carries himself with so much swag and confidence...Astros need to clone him and send Dallas ScaredyPants packing.

Is anyone watching the game? in the bottom 1st, Correa swung on a bad pitch, but the ball got away and that's how Springer scored. Why was Correa not on base but instead scored an out? I just checked ESPN play by play, and that's what they have also. Same thing happened to Devers on the top 2nd. Devers swung on a bad pitch, the ball got away momentarily, and the catcher had to throw him out at 1st. But had Devers reached 1st without the throw, he would've been safe, correct?

It's a dumb weird rule. If 1st base is occupied with less than two outs then the batter cannot run to 1st. But when there are 2 outs the batter can run to 1st if it was occupied.

Man, I've been watching baseball for more than 20 years, and i never knew that. Gotta give it to whoever came up with this dumb rule. I bet some of the players might not even know. Thanks for the clarification though.
