The rockets spoiled us, this team showed so much heart (next day thoughts)

Not just CP3, James, Capela...but everyone including Ariza (who I see is getting bashed unfairly).

That was the best defensive effort I have ever seen, these guys were laser focused against the most potent offense in league history. You get tired eventually with a short rotation like this, they were asked to do too much. This was a learning experience in the end and I hope we come out stronger.

The only thing that makes me sad is if this is the last time we get to run with this krew. Hopefully we sign CP3 to an affordable contract, get Capela back and run into battle with the same core. Even you Ryno, if you ever regain your confidence.

I like most fans have spent the entire day upset, but I’d rather take this feeling with all the good that’s come from it this year than anything less. 7 games. 1 away from the finals. It’s a lot to be proud of.

One last thing. **** Scott Foster. I hope people make that known to the league office.

My next day thoughts is I am sure as hell glad we didn't land Melo.

Yes, everytime Morey misses out on Melo, it works out for the best.

Let's hope he strikes out once again this summer.

Effort was there but bad luck and the Warriors getting some interesting calls going their way killed us.

My sentiments exactly. Can't be prouder of this team for what they did this year, regular season and playoffs. It was always a long shot to beat the otherworldly Warriors, but the Rockets gave their all and came really close!

    Everything is ok.

    Get another star.
    Avoid injuries.
Keep the team together more or less with upgrades.
Charter a boat for Brothers, Foster and Mauer to take........conveniently get lost on a deserted island.

I’m happy our season was much better than last season.
However I’m worried about being out coached again in the playoffs

we definitely got outcoached . but no team played with more heart than the Rockets. I truly loved this team.

how bout that PJ Tucker, right? i've never seen anyone play harder throughout a playoff series. it was unreal to watch.

Guys I like but can deal with being moved:

    Nene
    Ryno
    Black
    JJ

Guys i want to win a ring with:
    Ariza
    Gordon
    Luc
    Tucker
    Capela
    Green
    CP3 (obviously)

    Guys we need:
    Lebron

Unfortunately much if the players that deserve to win will likely be moved

Was really hoping CP would get a ring his first year here..he has become my favorite rocket player. For the first time ever, a rocket loss has me losing sleep...anyone else lose sleep over this? I still can't believe how it ended.

Don't want LBJ, just don't want him. That is like GS getting Durant, not a good look.

Do you want favorable treatment from NBA refs in the playoffs? LeBron ensures that. Oh, and he’s the best player in the world. I’ll happily take him on the Rockets if he wants to form a big 3 with CP3 and Harden.

I also preferred to do it without Lebron but no, it is NOT the same.

Lebron is joining a team to challenge the best team in the league that have assembled a team of All stars.

Durant was a p***y that lost to the Warriors, choked against them, and then right after, joined them. A team that was already a 73 win team and had ALREADY won a championship. That's cowardice of the highest level.

Rockets and Lebron had no interaction. Lebron is not joining a team favourite to win the league. Lebron is not joining a NBA champion. Lebron would be teaming up to take down the champion.

It would be more like Barkley joining the Rockets back then.

    That’s why this loss hurts
I think this is worse than Stockton’s shot

Considering the Rockets were primed to break the Warriors’ riddle that nobody else in the NBA has figured out, I’d say yes, it hurt more. Morey built a team that had the ingredients to beat the Warriors at their game, despite not having quite as much top end talent.

If he stays the course with this philosophy, they’ll have a good chance of finishing the job next year. Just need to unload Anderson’s deal and bring in more 3 and D weapons, along with having a 3rd playmaker for emergency situations when CP3 or Harden can’t go.

Having a ring to flaunt is never not a good look.

    Impressive but that's it.
There's always be a fighting story in every NBA season.
    Who will be the next???
