Eric Gordon I feel like is the X Factor in the Rockets Vs Warriors series. I feel like his play could be the deciding factor if we win or lose. He’s played well during the season against them and part of the reason we have been beating them this season. The warriors have so many playmakers and Gordon beside capela will have to be our mini stars. Flash Gordon + Splash Gordon = Cash Gordon
If Gordon is half of this every night we will not lose a game from now on.. too bad it might be 0/10 next game
He’s inconsistent but tends to play well against warriors He’s got a fire in him since his recent comments. I think harden and Paul realize now he needs the ball in his hands a lot more.
If Eric has 2 more performances like the last one in this series, and we win the series, he gets upgraded to "star" status at the least. If he does that AND we win it all AND he wins 6th man of the year (again), he could creep into "superstar" status pretty quickly. With the records for number of viewers continuously getting broken, this is the biggest stage the NBA has ever had to offer. Dwight was finally right about something: THIS IS OUR MOMENT! *Some positive thoughts out to the aether* So, especially, THIS IS YOUR MOMENT ERIC! Show the world you've had it in you this whole time! We believe in you!
He is a real X-factor because he is usually either our 2nd-3rd best player or our 7th-8th best player. There is rarely middle ground. When he is playing 3-headed dragon with Harden and Paul, we have the best backcourt in the league.
Seems like if we move the ball and get enough touches he goes off, hence game 4 round 1 50 points quarter, game 3 against the jazz explosion, we need to play the same pace like game 2 for the rest of the series for him to produce, iso ball at a faster pace please and move the ball.
I love...me some Eric Gordon, but my word. Now that he has his confidence back since joining the Rockets, can you imagine him being the best offensive player on his team? He may break the 40 shots per game average.
He is far from starism, he works well with Chris, James and the others....... at times. And he has to stay consistent in the playoffs to be recognized as a very good player without Allstar accolade.
Gordon's Regular Season Stats: Starter (30 games): 21.5p / 3.4a / 2.8r / .428 fg / .373 3p Reserve (39 games): 15.3p / 1.3a / 2.2r / .428 fg / .344 3p Time for starter Gordon.
Gordon is our 3rd star on “our” team that’s for sure He’s gonna have to put up 25-30 next game but without Paul I can picture him forcing more things then usual due to our lacking offense without Paul Sending positive vibes gordon is on point tomorrow
