Would Murray break up a champion in order to try to make a better champion?

That's a philosophical question best left to more learned men than we here at CF.

Question. Do the Rockets beat LeBron in the NBA finals?

LBJ slid into the background of NBA villains, and Durant now carries the torch. His legacy needed that after “The Decision” debacle.

I just don’t see him one upping KD by joining the champs and taking the torch back.

I can see him going to Philly, since they are not a superteam already he won’t be crucified as heavily. And he stays in the east. And can stick it to Uncle Drew with a young, rising squad.

    No. He absolutely wouldn't.

Don't forget though that Durant has a player option this year. He's already proven that he's a beta, take the easy way out, ride on other team's coattails kind of wimp player.

So the better question would be would Durant opt out of his contract and join the Rockets of the Rockets won the title?

He admitted he was tired finally, he wants more rings so why not.
But to do so, he needs to take a huge paycut chunk tho.

No he doesn't. Don't know where people get that idea from.

He can go to his choice of teams via trade and maintain his current salary / raises for the future. The team he lands with simply needs to send out $26.528m in outgoing salary for matching purposes.

LeBron will come only if the Cavs don't make it to the Finals whether we win the title or not.
