    1) That would be a mistake. He'd be dead for the 4th quarter

    2) Still doesn't absolve D'Antoni's embarrassing decision to keep Harden below 35 minutes

    I appreciate Harden's will to play 48 minutes. But we all know at that level of intensity there is diminishing returns in Harden's game the more minutes he plays. (e.g. Game 5 last year vs SAS). I mean it is understandable. Not a slight.

    What the Rockets need is Harden to play efficient 40 minutes. And be a good leader propping up his teammates.

    We don't need 48 super saiyan James.

    I'd rather trade that for a Gordon/Ariza/Tucker/Moute hydra who make their shots

    that will be detrimental to the team especially on defense. please don't. The reason our team was so good wasn't because Harden could drop 50 points a night.

    It's not Harden or CP3 that needs to play 48 minutes...it's the rest of the team that needs to play to win during their minutes out on the court. They need the same commitment that Harden is promising.

    He dribbles the ball WAY TOO LONG, attacks the basket missed layup, Warriors ball full court pass for a easy layup.

    The big three Harden/Paul/Capela need to play 38+ minutes. 35/38/30 is just not going to cut it.

    Warriors Durant/Klay/Green played 40/42/37 minutes.

    The Rockets should double down on iso ball and try to slow tempo as much as possible. 1) Harden ISO’s are highly efficient despite the media narrative, 2) Golden State is a better shooting team so the Rockets should limit possessions as much as they can. There was nothing wrong with the Game 1 offensive strategy, they just needed to execute a little better.

    Also, defensively they should do whatever they can to make Green and Iguodala take more shots.
