Media all year long have been hyping up the Rockets and Warriors to be the match up. Yet, suddenly when the series is actually here, 95% of all the people lean with the Warriors, and about half of them say it won't even be a series.

The only thing I can come up with on this is that the Warriors do not have home court advantage, so more are coming out of the woodwork to say how much they still believe in GS to win the championship and make it an easy road. If GS had home court advantage then most of these polls would not even exist because people would already know the outcome.

Having people jump on the Rockets bandwagon is a sign that they are indeed legit enough to compete and win or lose this series- the Rockets will show the rest of the NBA that the Warriors are either leaps and bounds over everyone or that there is a new way to compete against them.

    Game #1- Rockets will win
After 4 games it will be a 2-2 split with each winning a game on the others home court.
    Game #7 is inevitable

I mean it's biased to expect otherwise. The Warriors have won 2 out of 3 of the last championships and have one of the greatest teams to ever be assembled. Our Rockets still have to prove it. The Rockets absolutely should be the under dog here.

This is my prediction. Clutchfans needs to not freak out if we go into oracle tied 1-1.

Both teams will win on each others homecourt imo.

Im cool with people picking the warriors. I personally believe its 50/50 and choose rockets in 7 cause we have homecourt and i have a bias as a rockets fan but its not biased at all for neutral fans to think this 65 win rockets team with homecourt can beat gsw.

Its ridiculous to think picking warriors = objective and picking rockets = biased.

Rockets have proven plenty throughout this season that they can compete

That's the way we want it . . . underdogs.

Golden State have been trying to act like the underdog all week for the same reason. All mind games. They're scared the Warriors. Trust me.

There's nothing wrong with them saying they believe GS will win. The problem comes when there's just blatant lies about us "trash talking" to set up a narrative that isn't there.

    whatever.

if the rockets win they better acknowledge it as the biggest upset in professional sports history since the rockets had no chance.

    don't flip-flop.

The Rockets have been preparing for this moment the whole season. I have a suspicion that they will come out like they normally do in a game but then in the second half (if faced with trouble) they have a plan already in mind for Harden and Paul to switch up their style of play.

The advantage the Rockets have in this series is they've had the entire season to come up with schemes just for the Warriors. They knew they were going to meet with them in the Conf Finals this year (by easily beating any other team in the conference). This is the moment when they show something that the Warriors never expected. It's a chess match right now and Houston has already calculated the Warriors first several moves.

That isn't biased at all...Warriors have gone to 3 straight finals and won 2 of those...Rockets have been to ZERO. I fully expect most everyone to pick the Warriors. If the Rockets pull this out it would be the greatest playoff series win maybe in its entire history...yes even better than the 3-1 comebacks.
