Sucks that I had to listen to Reggie Miller and Doris Burke for four out of the five games.

 

Well miss you Bill. I grew up as a child listening to you and now my son has as well. What a shame and end to a hall of fame career

Doris Burke is one of the best analysts. She is pretty insightful. There was this one time she went and asked a ref for an explanation. She is better than bull and Clyde.

He had a great run. Guy is a legend. He’ll always be the tv voice of the rockets to me.

But he’s done. I can’t take his quirks and wrong calls anymore. Hope Clyde goes too.

I love Bill but Im in the crowd of wanting to see Craig Ackerman more...I just love his enthusiasm mixed with modern quips. Craig deserves to get the full time gig once Bill retires

 

What does this mean?

 

I don't dislike the woman and she is very qualified. I just hate her voice and almost all of her takes (not her in game basketball cues). She always has the East/West coast bias consensus crap from ESPN like Westbrook is MVP and Harden is ... For someone capable of thinking for herself and having great opinions about teams she does the opposite. Kind of like Walton. I dislike her partner more. I don't like Bull and Clyde either and really never was a fan of Worrell and I have watched just about every game for 40 years. I always preferred Murph because he was honest about them being good and smacking them when bad. Worrell half the time didn't know which way was up. No matter how bad the hometown crew are the national people almost all suck. If we had Van Gundy and Jackson for every game we might be better off. Everyone else hates Houston or is just f**kin stupid or both. It really sad when they drag up the recently retired players and they are horrible. At least give me someone that hates Houston but can call a game. I get why people prefer the radio feed on these things.

 

Bill is still the best announcer in all the land. Will be very disappointed if he doesn't come back. Not ready to hear Ackerman scream for 82 games per year.
