Look at my prediction from June http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php...ets-or-cavaliers.283810/page-21#post-11180740 I was close.
Props to: @Nero @daywalker02 @Plowman @Cstyle42 @don grahamleone @palmsnbananas and someone else as well. Predict the Rockets' W-L record at the end of the season (thread)
Credit to you @FTW Rockets FTW Rockets for posting 65 wins in that thread and then again in this thread
It's crazy what this team would've done if in any way consistently healthy. There was a lot of time missed by valuable pieces, and we could've easily won 70 games if healthy. I think the value of this team (together) is higher than our win product, which is crazy considering 65. They're not perfect, but definitely special.
Thanks homie... I had no idea that I predicted the 65 wins, but then again I'm not a douche who pats myself on the back after dissing hurricane victims just because I guessed something correctly.
Yes my friend. Your post was #11 of that thread: “Predict the Rockets’ W-L record at the end of the season.” Good in my book. don grahamleone For sure we'll have a winning record. Worst case scenario we're sitting at 42-40 and we still make the playoffs. We're on pace to win 63 games. However, I think the momentum is building and we win between 65-67. My post was #53. ApacheWarrior 65-17 (W-L) Maybe a couple more wins.....yes the Rockets are that good!! The Rockets record was 42-13 at the time.
I doubt they can win 65, Chris Paul isn't an off-ball player and I can't see James Harden just standing around while Paul takes control of the offense. At best the Rockets might be able to win 51-52 games, but I wouldn't bet on it. The Thunder, on the other hand, now that's a team that looks exciting. They have Olympic Melo, a great off-the-ball player in Paul George and the MVP, Russell Westbrook. I see them winning 60+ easily and challenging the Warriors.
