It's good to know that refs are aware of this antics and they're reviewing it during the game to send a message to the players. we're lucky it Harden did not get hurt badly.

It's at least 4 Jalen's, maybe even 5. His body movements, from beginning to end are incredibly similar to Jalen Rose's on Kobe.

    Hard to gauge intent.

This is one of be more obvious ones in memory because of how much effort it took for Blake to actually get his foot there. That’s why he got called for a flagrant. Normally this play doesn’t get a flagrant because it’s not nearly this obvious

I think it's because they don't actually think someone is doing it with intent. My point is that most basketball players can go their entire careers without stepping under someone. So there's no excuse to ever do this. Unless someone was pushed or legitimately stumbled - this should never happen.

I guarantee you if there was a 1 year suspension with stepping under a jump shooter - it would never happen ever again.

This why you start resting players. Stupid idiots like Blake are trying to harm an epic season.

Yup, he's a scumbag, what can you say. They correctly called it a flagrant foul based on the Zaza rule.

The Refs knew damn well it was purposeful .... no way they call a flagrant otherwise.

This dude has enjoyed too much good life to be such an a$$h0l3.

I hope he violates his contract ..... then breaks his knees .... and gets robbed by his agent , left penniless .... and his junk gets cut off in a freak accident , that would be karma catchin up to his deeds .

    It’s a great point really.

Some guys go there whole careers without accidentally doing it, others do it once or twice. Then there are guys who do it multiple times a year and it’s always guys who are otherwise chippy.

    What a coincidence

So what has the league done? This ******* needs to be suspended for the rest of the season. That's the only way the league can send a message to the players, and coaches, that this **** is entirely unacceptable. Doing anything less is the league front office giving a collective shrug, which would amount to, "We don't give a ****, unless that had happened to Curry or LeBron." They would care then.

I agree with this 100%! Time for the league to put an end to this....we have already seen it change and entire season and playoffs!

Breaking it down....It is 1 of 2 things....
1-Really bad and lazy defense where a defender is too far away from the shooter because he knows he cannot stay in front of him in case of a drive to the basket, then "accidently" going too far too quick at the expense of the shooter. The only good defense would be up close enough to go straight up, or be able to jump by or next to the shooter in an effort to block.

2-Intentionally trying to hurt the shooter now or at least to intimidate later.

No matter the reason......it needs to stop.

The thing about that play was this:
    1. How many 3 point jumpers has Blake defended this year without landing under someone's foot? (Probably none to not many)
    2. Of these times, how many times was it a "no name" player? (Probably never a G league player)
    3. Was Blake actually trying to block or contest the shot? (NO)
    4. Is Blake a douche with butt hurt feelings because he sucks? (YESSSSS)
