Dude im not sure he is even worth anything. He is damaged goods. Thatd be a terrible trade for minnesota and a great trade for spurs
Media twisted his words. If you listen to Kawhi's interview its the most "**** off" response he could've given. Seriously, replace "soon" and "sure" with **** off and the tone of the interview doesn't change Boston
did you mean to post a different vid. That one is three months old (from Dec 4th) and doesn't have any comment or question regarding resigning with the Spurs.
Pop is one step ahead of Warriors when it comes to faking injuries and resting his players for playoffs. He is resting Kawhi for the playoffs. Resting him for the entire regular season! Imagine how much freshest Kawhi is going to be.
Na this is serious. Pop seemed really upset and he seems to be annoyed by it. To me I think Kawhi is either going through some mental issues. He seems more depress than before. Or he isn't happy with his role there, He wants to be the main guy or he and Pop are not on the same page (prob not). or Kawhi does really feel like he isn't 100% yet and doesn't want to risk getting hurt by coming back too soon. pretty much every player or ex-player says you need time to gel with the team. also you need to be in game shape mode which takes a few games. Also it seems that once Pop insinuated that if kawhi didn't play soon he wouldn't play at all this season. Then Kawhi says he would be back on Thursday. Pop and Kawhi talked or had a meeting then they changed it back to indefinitely. I know this might look like they want to keep him fresh but Imo its clear that Pop said you aren't playing this year because you were pouting and not playing.
This year we got 2 bizarre injuries, Kawhi and Fultz. Both teams saying the player should be ready but for some reason they aren’t and neither team knows why
Somewhere, thousands of miles away, Zaza Pachulia is laughing his ass off right now... because his favorite rerun is playing on the Cartoon Network.
If I'm Pops I would looking to trade him, I bet Boston or Minny would give up a king's ransom for Kawhi. Kawhi is either damaged goods or has lost trust in the Spurs organization. Either way Pops needs to trade him while his stock is still high.
Offer him to la for Kuzma and Ingram package. Helps the Spurs rebuild and gives the Lakers a star to build around and attract Lebron or a Paul George.
All I know is that as of yesterday the Spurs are the 7th seed and we are the 1st seed. Minnesota is currently the 8th seed. I would not mind if the standings stay that way, should Kawhi Leonard come back healthy and play. Of course, I don't know Jimmy Butler's status, but even if he returned, I think we'd take the Wolves in 5 anyway.
