Add Pugh or Fleming and Honey badger and i’ll Say we won FA... extend Clowney and look into Gaines and a TE. We easily have the money to do that.

They still have like $46 million or so in cap space. They could realistically sign Matthieu and Gaines and still have plenty of money to use for contract extensions.

I like the idea of NOT using all of the cap personally and continuing to roll to the next year.

I would be happy if we finished free agency with Honey badger and gains. Our offense is fine when Watson is healthy. We just need upgrades on defense.

I do, too. I'd like to see them add 1-2 real impact guys, probably a defensive back and either an o-lineman or tight end, and then use a chunk on depth and extensions. But at the end of the day, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if they still had $25 million-$30 million left over for next year.

If they end up with either of those guys, this was a win in my book. With Colvin, one of those guys and potentially moving Kareem to safety, there's an argument to be made that they'll have upgraded at three key secondary positions.

Bruce was not a bad receiver for us.

    Good 3/4th wideout.

Nice underrated signing. Bet there were some other suitors. The 1 year deal makes me think he believed coming back and playing with DW4 and having another successful year was his best shot at improving his stock and getting a pay day next offseason. Fine by me!

Probably discussing it over with his family. Whole cliche.

We need to invest real money into the OL. If it's not Solder, hold off until next year. See who's on the market then. Don't spend 45m just to spend 45m. Were not adding a stud lineman through the 2018 draft, clearly. Watson's safety and health should be paramount. Once that is established, we'll be a contender until Watson dies. Surround him with a, dare I say, Cowboys-esque OL. A la Texans 2011 line. We were so dominant. That's what we need to get back to. Should've never let Brooks walk.

I heard from a relative there is an interesting passenger on his flight to Houston tonight: Colin Kaepernick. Tom Savage signed with Saints today. Texans owner Bob McNair and Kaepernick need each other, amirite? THAT will be quite the presser. You heard it here first.
