not so sure this is Marv being senile

Willing to bet he also said back in 1994 that those Rockets had no one with Finals experience, either.

Marv Albert is 77 years old and his memory isn't quite what it used to be. I still enjoy him calling games from time to time and he is a legend; but you have to accept father time. Same thing I will say about Bill Worrell (although Bill isn't as bad).

I mean what Finals experience did GSW have when they won 3 years ago.

If Marv was accused today of the things he did 20 plus years ago you would never hear from him again

Even if true, thats a non stat.

There are plenty of bench warmers that has "finals experience". So?

Ok, so lets also skip Ariza, and say that none of our players has final experience.

Well, that will just show how eager they are to win it all.
I expect them to put much more heart than those who already had won.

    Cuckold Marv.

TNT, ESPN and Fox really need new Young Broadcasters in NBA and MLB it has really become unbearable listening to everyone, Joe Buck is Monotone, Depressed Guy listening to him, Bob Costas talking about irrelevant stories, Kevin Harlan saying "Westbrook didn't have help last year during the Playoffs" Kevin Harlan saying, "Nothing Left Westbrook has played 40 excruciating minutes". Reggie Miller terrible voice, Players Only all are terrible, except Chris Webber and Isaiah Thomas speak well and recognize young talent.

Wow, that 2009 Magic team that went to the Finals had 6 former or future Rockets on it.

    Dwight Howard
    Courtney Lee
    Keith Bogans
    Brian Cook
    Tyrone Lue
    Rafer Alston

Oh and apparently a phantom Ryan Anderson (why do I get the impression that may be a running joke for awhile)

Marv hasn't been getting those "bites" in like he used to. 90's were better for the announcing too. And for keeping your job after bites.

I see what you are doing there.

Unfortunately the dirty NBA Refs don't read these message boards.

In all honesty it's prob because of Dantoni.
    1. This isn't the first time Dantoni has had a 60+ win team. Theres a reputation of his teams busting in the playoffs.

    2. His teams didn't perform great when he was coaching both of the biggest media friendly market teams in the NBA: LA and NY, so while they don't admit it publicly- most media prob hate Dantoni

That's where you lose the majority of NBA fans. They've been led to believe that we play a brand of basketball that's boring to watch. Just go to any Reddit thread, or YouTube/Twitter/FB comments, and see the idiocy at work. They believe that Harden flops his way to 20 FTs a night, the Rockets are just a SSOL clone that play no defense, and that CP3 and Harden are playoff chokers. I wish I could say that it's just a vocal minority that's hating, but I don't think that's the case.
