Yuli's injury was caused by wanking to himself while watching the game tying homerun in game 5. You can't blame him.
Suspension begins once player is removed from DL. So I suppose we could activate him when he is 3-5 games from ready, essentially nullifying the suspension PS i vote for JD davis
Yeah I suspect Reed is going to be one of those guys that a decade from now pops up for a discussion on these boards about "what the hell is he doing now?"
the sadder thing is, at least two of the pitchers Reed faced today had never pitched beyond AA. It's not exactly like he's getting struck out by Chris Sale and Corey Kluber
Reeds trade value might be as low as it ever has. Might he force his own release as well? Of course, he could go 3 for 3 in his next outing.
Reed had a great spring training in 2017. He can have another one this year. It mostly comes down to some combination of luck (babip gods, favorable pitching matchups) and Reed's inner ability to relax and feel like he is back in Fresno where he regularly punishes the baseball.
Ot he's just another AAAA player... and that includes players that are mentally incapable of performing with the big league club, despite having all the requisite physical tools.

If there was certainty about these kinds of things, there wouldn't be any debate about it. Despite that, a decision will be made at some point whether to keep him around, trade him, or let him go. He will 25 in May, so time is not on his side.
Who's claiming certainty? There are far more AJ Reeds, Brett Wallace's, and Jon Singleton's out there.... than there are above average MLB first baseman.
