Houston is 12 games ahead of OKC, comparing the 2 is a joke. Their record is much closer to the Lakers than the Rockets

The funny thing is we already destroyed the Thunder in the playoffs last year with a much lesser team.

 

We proved that last year. Oladipo is close to George’s level. And adding Melo doesn’t really do anything. Hes worst than Ryno this season. If we play Thunder in a playoff series we win in 5-6. Our bench is ALOT better than them. this is why the 1 seed is important. The 2 seed faces a tougher route. I think OKC will Finnish at 3. They are definitely the 3rd best team in west. If warriors face them in round 2. Which they have never played a tough series in round 2. Will wear out the dubs. While we could probably play a much easier series in round 2 vs MIN. If San Antonio is sitting at 4 with a healthy Kawhi and Gay in round 2. Then this might be a different story.

The instant I hear an argument start with, "Is Harden gonna get the same calls in the playoffs...," I know that you haven't paid enough attention to Houston basketball to fairly evaluate. Anyone operating under that assumption heard a story one time and never bothered to learn anything new.

 

My dream scenario is for rockets to get 1 seed. San Antonio to fall to 7 play gsw in round 1.
Then round 2. With OKC rising to 3 seed playing GSW in round 2.
They'll be tired by WCF
Rockets would face an easier route in probably
Jazz in round 1
Portland/Min in round 2

3.Thunder

5.Portland
6. Den
7.SAS
8.Jazz
Kawhi and Gay come back right for that series
This can only happen if spurs don't get Kawhi back until April. That's a huge test in round 1. Similar to clippers at 3 and spurs at 6 in 2015

 

Michael Rapaport would've put up the same career numbers as Scalabrine and his opinion on the NBA is just as valid.
