Ryan stinks. It's pretty simple. Harden is the reason the Rox won 55 games and the reason CP3 wanted to be in Htown, not Ryan Anderson! LOL!!!.

He's been more hot and cold compared to last season. Say he still has value, but if it's not working in the starting lineup, maybe put Tucker in as a starting 4?

Tucker has been fine. IMO he wasnt in good shape the first bit of the season. Slightly better now. I prefer Prince starting but Tucker would be better than anderson

It's very obvious he isn't trying. He is sending a message to the team. All those rumors in the summer tore him up and he tried to prove everyone wrong and was successful for a stretch. When his shot abandoned him, he gave up and now inevitably knows he's gone. Nothing to play for anymore but I'm sure he still checks his bank account on payday.

At what point does Gerald Green warrant minutes over Ryno? Why not start Luc at the 4 and bring Green into the rotation?

Good idea, but have to still showcase Andersen for a trade. I still don't understand why MDA will not give green 5 or 10 minutes a game.

Problem is, what is Ryno showcasing out there, besides the inability to do the one thing he's supposed to be good at? Combine that with hesitancy on shooting, and GMs would be looking at the game tapes and going "NEXT!"

Cannot aford to lose another pick and Ryno would not kill his own trade value if he wanted out ASAP. It just shows how much this situation has messed with his head.

I think we’re all making too many assumptions. Last year Ryno completely disappeared in the playoffs and it wasn’t because of trade rumours or anything of the sort. He just played poorly. He does that.

As to the people saying the PF thing is dooming us, there is literally only one team where we would be so outmatched with big men and that WAS New Orleans, which is no longer the case after the unfortunate injury.

I do think we need a more traditional natural power forward on the roster; someone of Harrel’s size, to throw into the game to defend someone like Blake Griffin in certain match ups. I just don’t know who would be realistically available for us.

Right the idea he is doing it on purpose is laughable

Maybe now with Boogie out the Pelicans will be willing to take on Ryno for Asik and Ajinca. Ajinca make $5m next year and becomes a free agent after. Asik makes $10m next year and has a $3m buyout the year after. Both contracts are easier to flip this summer compare to Ryno. The Rockets probably won't need to throw in a pick for this deal since the Pelicans should be desperate to add a veteran like Ryno now.

How about Anderson for Boogie Cousins. Cousins is a free agent, so there is no guarantee he would resign with NO anyway. It would be a straight salary dump for us. It might salvage the season for the Pelicans.

The magic seem like a possible partner in an Anderson trade. His return would provide Orlando with much needed spacing. But his contract is everything they don't want. While it's slightly better than Bismack's contract ($17 million a year, through a '19-20 player option), adding Anderson only helps them slightly. While an Anderson for Biyombo trade does work via the numbers, you're trading size and rim protection for a perimeter threat.

But I don't see any real reason beyond just shaking things up for the Magic to get interested in that kind of swap.

Their roster is totally stuck because Evan Fournier is locked $17 million a year through '20. That makes our Anderson deal look reasonable. The Magic currently have low contracts that are about to expire and they want to get something for them (Speights, current expiring; Afflalo, current expiring; Hezonja, current expiring; Payton, the able of Codman's quotes, qualifying in '18-19; Vucevic, maybe their best contributor coming off a broken hand, expiring in '18-19; Gordon, their only hope of getting better, qualifying in '18-19. The mismatched contracts just go on and on.

I just don't see how they can take on Anderson right now. What they want right now is stockpile of assets: picks, short contracts, and young players. And while we do have an interesting range of younger assets and foreign rights, we don't have the picks to offer.

We aren't going to win in the playoffs, unless we add a veteran presence with size. It's more than Anthony Davis. Western Conference players like Gasol, DeAndre Jordan, Steven Adams, Karl Anthony Towns, Gobert, and Favors all have a decisive edge against our guard/forward heavy roster. Simply having a Tyson Chandler or Brook Lopez to turn to would be huge.

I do have confidence that Morey can work something out. He's done more with less before.

I think MDA is hiding Green somewhat. So possible teams taking on Ryan Anderson do insist on Green being included.

Maybe hint of him being in MDA’s doghouse to discourage those teams.

Ryno wants out of Houston. He's obviously still salty from us trying to trade him for Melo in the summer. Just set him free.

Or he's just not an NBA starter. He's a bench player who's lost confidence and still STARTING.
