Capela, Ego...Morey will figure something out

CP3 playing for peanuts definitely isn’t happening tho, and people may be overstating what a DJ discount will be...that could still be something like 13-15 mil/yr in Deandre’s mind

Think more like 15-20 million as Jordan's "discount" is my guess.

Can absolutely, CP3 might not demand his max, but he's not playing for $10 million.

wouldn’t surprise me at all if your guess is exactly what DJ considers a discount

MLE or other contract numbers around there that are being thrown around are fantasies AFAIC

I don’t see CP3 agreeing to anything less than around what he’s making this year as his annual salary moving forward...might not be the max, but he will be looking to get paid

Well, yeah, CP3 already gave up some money to be traded here, and he isn't going to throw more money away.

Deandre Jordan is eligible for a gigantic contract that no one will give him. Hence the possibility of the Clips shipping him out. To me, "hometown discount" would still be in the range of $18,000,000 per year. I don't know what he's worth, but he's good enough (free throws notwithstanding: CLUNK! THUD! "Ouch, watch yer face!") that he shouldn't have to be standing at the corner of the Hillcroft feeder and 59 with a sign in his hands.

The dozencousins poster on the Sac RealGM forums seems to think the Rockets are talking 3-way with Sacramento and the Clips (another partner involved might be the Cavs as the third team), with "nothing being imminent". Take it with a grain of salt. In fact, "throw some salt over your right shoulder" ("who just hit me with the saltshaker!!?" "kick his a$$, Sea Bass!").

If we get Lebron here through SNT, we have his bird rights? We already have CP3 bird rights through the trade. So if we can do Anderson(maybe 3 team trade again lol) + ego to Cleveland and then we can trade Capela to LAC for DJ? That way we have both players bird rights in Lebron and DJ and we should be good to go regarding our salary cap? Or am I wrong?

If Clint is too expensive for us this summer and/or if we have a shot at a crazy good free agent (like a LeBron or something), I'd be happy with DJ at a discount.

I don't think Cleveland will trade Lebron before the trade deadline to piss off their fans. But OKC may have to think hard if they want to trade PG before the trade deadline or risk losing him for nothing in the summer. Do you think they will do a PG for EGO and Luc Mbah trade with us?

Cleveland definitely isn’t trading Lebron during the season...I think our easiest shot at getting him is with an opt in and trade during the summer after Lebron lets Cleveland know he won’t be staying

I think that offer would interest OKC, but it seems like they’re gonna keep him and hope for the best

Breh stop spamming Dwight nonsense. You’re being deliberately ignorant and it’s not cute or entertaining.
