Mitchell usually has decent commentary, but he's foolish for being surprised OKC made the playoffs.

I've noticed the Rockets have the fewest "Rockets guys" in the Media.

What I mean by that is people affiliated with the Rockets or guys who are Rockets fans who are also National Sports Writers / TV personalities.

Celtics have guys like Bill Simmons. You got guys like Nick Wright, Colin Cowterd, and Shannon Sharpe who are basically Lebron Stans. Skip is a disgusting dick sucking Spurms stan.

Other than JVG there are no Rockets guys to really stand up for Harden and make arguments for him. It's just a bunch of guys repeating trash that can easily get refuted by anyone who actually watches the Rockets but since there is no one there to refute those points, other casual fans that don't watch the Rockets take their opinion like Gospel and that becomes the perception.

Always about the story - and which story is better to tell. Harden has a narrative this year - if Houston has the better record than GS - not an easy thing to do - it may put him in the MVP lead. But let's be fair, Lebron is putting up career best numbers and shooting close to 60% from the field. His numbers are no worse than Harden's, and if he leads Cleveland to a 1 or 2 seed with those numbers - he's right up there in contention and it will be close - as it's a great media story.

If Houston has the best record in the NBA, I think Harden has the stronger narrative.

Games like tonight give y’all all y’all answers

Not being able to play like a MVP under pressure when Cp3 wasn’t there can be a reason, hopefully he turns it around, really want him to get one

LeBron probably wins MVP this season.
Rockets chose to have their injuries, their mediocre effort, and worst stretch of the season (hopefully this is the worst) when we have like 5-6 straight national TV games.

Harden lost a lot of respect from everyone this past week.

I wonder if we would have lost the last 4 games with Harden on the bench and CP3 playing. Maybe not?

two offensive fouls in the final ten seconds of a tight game

punching the ball out of a referees hands after fouling out

scoring buckets ontop of buckets and his team still loosing

these will be the reasons, unless

rockets rip three more 14 game win streaks w/ CP3 back where harden scores 40+ in most of them. (definitely possible), and CP3 watches over harden like a viscious mother hen
