Paul came up big for Houston, then told James Harden: “I got you.”

Hard to really say how much longer he can play.

In the past, I've said the same thing about harden. Both their games do not require freaky athleticism to dominate. Their IQ's will still be the same at age 40 . Unlike WB and LB, who's game heavily relies on their physique.

5 yrs together at a high level is still very doable.

    LB is a basketball savant.
One of the best bball minds. Up there along the other greats.

Although it's not the point of this thread, Lebron's game will absolutely age well. It already has. He uses strength, not speed and explosiveness. And, he probably has the highest IQ in the league, second only to CP3, maybe. Westbrook, however, will be done within five years.

CP3's game can age well for sure. Doesn't require a lot of explosiveness. He has an amazing shot, great IQ, those are great indicators for a strong future.

Credit to Black, too. He freed up Paul for that second jumper and moved straight to the rim for a sure putback if it hadn't gone in.

Is it just me, or was that editorialized nonsense mostly just trying to subtly bash James Harden? Another sports writer/analyst who ignores the existence of the 2015 season and playoffs (really the 2012 playoffs, pre-finals, too... but pretty different situation, of course), and the fact that Harden has never had a decent 2nd option.

It almost seems like some people are propping up Chris Paul as a means with which to discredit and rob Harden of what should be his third MVP...

From what I have read, Gary Payton II can lock down Paul.

Yeah they should have mentioned the gimpy leg but I was riding a little high after the win I didn't really catch the slight at Harden.

Still good to see they brehs now tho.

So I guess Morey is ok with mid range shots.

I am fairly certain you are joking, but for those who does still take that misunderstanding seriously, Morey is OK with midrange shots as long as they are a good shot and by good shot I mean either the best shot available or the shooter is damn good at them.

Harden is adding the teardrop just outside the paint to his game. I’ve seen quite a few and it is beautiful.
