I'm thinking about it, but it might be a bit premature right now as you only have one player. Go ahead and make your next two selections and I'll keep thinking.

Good question so if someone would fleece another guy and end up having a roster over 90 million.

Is that allowed then? I think it should not be. But for it to happen both have to be more under the cap.

Having carried out this draft, I am not so sure this is a trade incentive because people can still be smart and get under the cap themselves and still building a formidable lineup.

I mean all the other 1 MVP 2-3 Allstar regulation is also just 'a limitation' like the salary cap.

Well you can go over the cap but have to end below it when the draft ends. So going over the cap is risk of being disqualified if you cannot make a trade to get under at he end.

So it’s at he drafters own risk.

LCA and I agreed on the cap being absolute and no one being allowed to go over it during the draft.

Otherwise ends up in a lot of weird situations that we faced in past drafts.

That part is unshakable I know but I dun get the trade incentive.

Trigger happy guys will be trigger happy and conservatives dun change their stripes.

    Because of one salary cap?

Some take on a lot of cap because they have made out cheap targets and vice versa, so when those targets are picked your strategy has to be thought over. It's a better incentive than having no cap. Or you miscalculated and realized that there are no good players left for your salary.

The Player Pool dried up because we did a draft based on this young season of 25-26 games, and couple real good got freak injuries.
And many are not eligible, I am sure, not because of the heavy salary cap. And we made a rule that limited that capacity even more.

So hope we can get some role players

I probably would’ve reached for Embiid in the top 5. He’s awesome. Just gotta hope he stays healthy

Btw, it's always helpful to put your team into your sig. Can also add the salary so that everyone knows what they're dealing with.

Would be more helpful if we had someone who would take care of Oelman's drafting. In previous drafts he would have been skipped at least 3 times and we did indeed wait for him every time.

after looking at board late last night, i thought i'd pick Embiid and Porzingis if i entered the draft as no.10.
