I'd do it only if we kept capela. It would have to be Ryno and spare parts.

Can we not give up Clint? Clippers are pretty much stuck since DA wants to come here.
Also doubt DA has much interest from other teams.

No thanks, DJ. You've had years to improve your FT shooting. It's not gonna get better, and it's a grave liability.

But: This is a great sign. Frontcourt guys around the league are looking at our backcourt and thinking, "What a great setup for me." We'll land the right big man. It just won't be this one.

I'm starting to feel pretty strongly that that is what the Rockets should do. Morey needs to keep exploring options, of course, but it were left to me, I'd roll with who we have and watch them improve. They're going to improve. We just need to stay reasonably healthy. That's a scary thought, that we're rolling like we are and should improve, possibly a great deal, before the end of the season and before the playoffs.

Don't think other teams aren't thinking the same thing about us. Opposing coaches have to be chewing their fingernails, worrying about how to defend Houston, and opposing front offices have to be wondering, "Who can we grab by the deadline to help us match up with the Rockets?" Ain't it grand? I know it's only 20 games, but it is 20 games. That's enough to get a sense of what we have and where we're going, and I like where we're going. A lot.

You want DJ to share minutes with CC, but also give up RA now that he's hitting his 3s everywhere? Who's going to replace RA's production?

Deandre in playoffs had games like 1/20 from free throws. It's very hard to win if all your offensive possessions end with "hack-a-Jordan".
He may kill Rockets as main center but would be great as backup.

nah man. clint > deandre. he's got less limitations now that he can hit free throws. And honestly, i'm liking ryno right now with the synergy. Deandre struggles just as much if not more guarding perimeter players than what we have so what he'd be giving us is just one level more of athletic finishes around the rim.

When Clint started hitting ft's he surpassed DJ imo. DJ's inability to hit foul shots makes him another Dwight. Great center outside of that HUGE flaw

After what happened with the Mavs-DJ signing debacle, no reason to chance it at all! We don't want a homesick player. Besides, Clint is better for less.

In a word....Insurance... If Clint goes down, for the right price, you could have much worse back ups. Nene is good BUT iffy and Black is, well????
