I want all of you guys to realize something.

Yes Giles is shaky. And he seems to always give up a run. But he gave us 3 great outs in the 9th when I didn’t think he could.

That was on Hinch for trying to turn Giles into something he’s not. You can’t expect him to get 6 outs.

    Even Jansen didn’t do that.

He should have given it to Devo or *gasp* Gregerson after Giles gave up that walk.

If I could hug everyone in this thread I would.

This will forever be the Marwin/Altuve/Correa/Maybin/Springer game and NOT the Giles game!!

almost everyone contributed in some form or fashion. Harris’ inning was so huge. Springer coming alive as we go home is going to make this a fun weekend.

I just saw the replay. Marwin choked up on the bat on his home run. Unbelievable game! One of the most nerve wrecking game I have seen.

You can't stay mad at Giles. His teammates got him off the hook! He just needs to bounce back and I believe he will.

That game was the definition of Houston sports except we actually won! Good job Astros! Now defend your home field...preferably with less drama

This game has surpassed Burke's 18th inning home run as the greatest game in Astros history.

Yep...and that's all it takes. Don't have to swing like Los Gomer to drive the ball. Stay within yourself and go with the pitch.

Verlander put on some face paint, and then went Braveheart on the dugout. Woooo!
