Yup, exactly. The sad thing is, we should have an expectation of better, more insightful analysis from a coach than #HotTakes.

@Codman, glad you are back! Love your participation.

Cats trying to eat ill nalize these disrespectfully scathing comments. F@co McHale he was a horrible coach and had no leadership in playoffs battles besides riding Hardens brilliance to great records.

McHale had a horrible reputation as gm and coach before Harden came into his life.

    Ungrateful piece of manuer.

mchale and espn and other various hacks can get away with piling on harden b/c they know he's very unlikely to respond back, always having been the turn-the-other-cheek kind of guy. but wouldn't this just suck for mchale if one of his other players now came out and straight bombed on the specifics of his horrible coaching? the truth eventually comes out...always

When will McHale take responsibility for his own poor leadership?

in his entire coaching/GM career he never took responsibility for even one mistake on his part. it was always "they"

That's right. Why won't @hooroo call out Snowflake McHale?

He played Westbrook style because he had no one helping.

Gathered more guns (EGo, Nene & RyAnd) last year. Noticed last year when Harden sat; offense struggled

This year added even greater stockpile of guns (CP3/Tucker/Luc MaM/T Black) this year. Last year the Rockets
had to deal with new Offense/Defense/coaches while playing about 14 of the first 20 games on the road.

I expect CP3/Tucker/LucMaM to be incorporated into the system very rapidly. The first month won’t be
as traumatic to the team as a whole, IMO. Harden and EGo doing what they did last year while CP3
does what he does (PnR facilitator / catch-n-shoot guy). Luc MaM/Tucker doing what they do each
season (catch-n-shoot with quick release 3-point shooters)

Elements of every NBA Offense seems to be PnR, Isolation and post ups.
Rockets will do mostly PnR & Iso:
    CP3/Harden/EGo facilitating or going iso.
    Ariza/RyAnd/Tucker/Luc/EGo/Harden/CP3 ready for catch-n-shoot 3’s

“Player” leadership is overrated. If the Rockets go all the way, people will say it’s because of CP3 yelling.
CP3 will be the same player he always is......but his leadership has never gotten out of the second rd.

It’s personnel and team depth that wins nowadays. IMO. LeBron might be a great leader; but he doesn’t win
without talented players with him in Miami or Cleveland.

Does Kevin McHale think CP3 can teach Harden how to have heart?

Harden had enough heart to kick the tar out of the Mavs last year

You know you want to root for the Rockets swyyyguy. It’s time for you to take the plunge. Become
a real fan like the rest of us. Not a fake fan rooting for a fake-lame-***-weak team known as the Mavs.

You can go back to supporting Dennis Smith jr three years from now.
