All the lottery reform did was make people not want the worst record in the league. Teams will still tank to get bottom 3.
maybe but if you're true intentions are tanking, you want the #1 pick. otherwise you're pretty disappointed. not all teams with the worst records are truly tanking. They just really suck in reality
morey's a genius because actually now more teams have access to tank to bottom 3. now instead of 1 or 2 teams tanking it out for the last place, now you could have 5-8 teams tanking to reach bottom 3.

Not really, there's not a huge difference in odds for the #1 pick between the top 3 teams and teams 4/5. Are they higher? Yes, but not a lot.
