We'll see moving forward, but if Watson keeps playing like this you can't just selectively choose what BOB deserves blame for, but not give credit.

Still can't believe they let 10 seconds run off before calling a timeout. Just baffling

I'm just about there guys. Not going for it on 4th and a foot and failing to call a TO quickly just about buries BOB.

Texans have players who won't quit and will lay it on the line. The head coach doesn't deserve them.

And don't forget the challenge on that 3rd and long play (Brady looked sacked but found Gronk late) that even if he won would have resulted in....wait for it....

    waaaaaaittttt for ittttt...

The exact same result (Patriots punt on 4th down) as when he lost the challenge. And it wasn't 30 yards of field position at stake either.

We sure could have used that second time out on the final drive so BOB wouldn't have asked Watson to try and spike the ball. If you are still defending BOB at this point, you won't be convinced b/c you can't be convinced. Multiple instances of amateur hour to the Nth degree for a team with deep playoff aspirations is no longer defensible. It almost feels like he could start Vrabel at QB and a certain segment of you would find something redeeming in that.

Hopefully Watson can overcome his biggest obstacle - his coaching staff.

Exactly. That was so frustrating. The Texans had this game won.

And don't even get me started on the clock management. Damn.

He needs to be gone after today. This is pretty much exactly everything thats wrong with him summed up for his tenure here. An actual head coach thats been in the NFL and successful would be nice for once.

Running Lamar Miller up the gut on 3rd & 1 instead of keeping the ball in Watson's hands was crazy. But if you want to be stupid and run it up the middle, at least give it to Foreman.

Taking a game that was in your control, deciding to kick a fg, and saying, hey we don't want control of the game any more, we want to give control to Tom Brady....
That was when I realized that obrien is just too weak minded to be an NFL coach. You have to have the intestinal fortitude to go for it on 4th there and ice the game.

I wouldve bet a lot of money that Watson could get that first down had they called his name. The pats couldn't tackle him all game long.

That is absolutely correct about its on him.
And not acceptable in year 4.

Get a OC already or get out.

You have a real QB now, don't F it up.

I still believe in his HC abilities but he needs help in play calling and clock management.

    Somebody help him!

Bob, Owner Bob, Rick, GM Rick, do something before it's too late

You have no 1st and 2nd next year so don't flush this year done the tube, get him help.

Agree. I'm not a fan of O'Brien but his game plan offense helped win the game last week and almost won it for them this week. He's also put Watson in a position to succeed both games.

The things he will be fired for have nothing to do with watson. Only a moron would let O'brien keep his job because watson is good.

I'm abstaining for now but it's clear OBrien can't coach against Bellichick. It's like Bellichick is in his head.
