Well if anyone could get info, it would be nice if we can raise some money to get him something in his battle with cancer.
Hey guys....the cancer that Codman has is a pretty serious type! My daughter In law has the same type and though MDACC tried everything, they threw in the towel and she's now at home doing Hospice. She has several daily boughs of tumor fever which is (besides the lymphoma) pretty debilitating. If Codman is still on chemotherapy, communication with us is the furthest thing on his mind and if his prognosis isn't good them maybe he doesn't want sympathy . Either scenario isn't good for him....but, if by chance you are reading this Codman all our wishes and prayers are going out to you!
What type of lymphoma does he have. That makes a huge difference, some have cure rates that are like 90+%. He was doing radiation, so I imagine his Stage (That's the biggest indicator aside from type) was probably on the mid-higher end.
Can't DM his Twitter unless he follows me, which he doesn't because he doesn't know I exist. I sent a reply to one of his tweets, politely asking for info. Let's hope he sees it and responds. I'll let you know.
Ah. I don't even know if he has a Twitter account. I searched under "codman" and found nothing promising.
He is back. Good to hear from you. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php...trade-scenarios.284145/page-595#post-11315589
You all are amazing. I apologize for not communicating. The news I received was incredibly difficult. As for Ne, he knows nearly everything about me, but he's very private. He'd deny reading the board or associating with any one of us. Now, Tinman and Morey have an open relationship that isn't as private. That's why Ne and I work well together. We value silence, but also the passion of the game/politics/rumors when it comes our way. I remember being with him during his cancer scare. He was so much stronger than me, and his wife*, kept his spirits going. Without her and his friends, Ne may have retired out of pride or fear of a cancer return. TWill used to read here, too. But again, our identities keep us safe. I'm curren;ty between AZ and CO if it matters. I had to give up coaching for a while due to my health, but I'm active with Dan (daily) and with Priority. Yeah, I'm pretty lame. Thanks for accepting me. I admire DocRocket, Cyber and Clutch for their classiness and ability to communicate without fear. Some things that I could mention would end me in more ways than one. Confidentiality is a must in this organization. DLO of the Lakers (formally) is the example of how you destroy any chance of networking and developing relationships. Anyway, I'm rambling, but I've missed the board. I feel okay today, considering. The disease is still there, but I'm more than a cell count. XO, Cod
well have you at least checked out the studies out of MDA or BCM in Houston? Surely you could get in one. Total respect for privacy. We admire you so so much and wish you the best. Keep up the fight, it doesn't have to be a knock out, but a steady journey to recovery.
