Wasn't this guy really wrong about something that made us all doubt him in the first place? I don't remember what it was now
I have a hard time believing a guy can have had that prolific of a career and yet there are no mentions of his name associated with the three things he's claiming: a) any nfl teams b) espn c) sporting news
It's hard to take "insiders" seriously when they start posting exact times. How many times have those been right?
I am not vouching for Burt. He has called a some odd things that were not being rumored at the time. I heard about him at college level booster events and then have heard of him with some of the groups around Reliant and the Texans.
He does have a picture of him at a Rockets game with floor seats thanking D-Morey for them.... interesting
He's obviously an insider posing as someone else to post info. The guy only posts prediction and how he hangs on the ocean with hot chicks.
I like'd your post, BUT the frickin Patriots scoring on the Texans??? This the equivalent of a "Backhanded" compliment.... Will ignore the faux-pas this time... ....... ....... .......
yep, that got noticed in the original posting where the video got pitched, I think the don made the executive decision to just roll with it. @don grahamleone
We should probably put the the June 22nd, 2017 tweet in the OP into proper context. He tweeted that the morning of Draft Day. Surely Burt was expecting a draft day trade. Probably had zero connection to Paul. Zero.
I'll say the following for Burt: 1) He's never reported anything that was obviously false 2) Unlike most "insiders" he hasn't thrown out like 20 different targets to give himself greater chances of success 3) He has AT LEAST one story where he was clearly ahead of the news (Cecil Shorts) 4) Every guy he has mentioned with regards to the Rockets has at least been a confirmed target at some point
Good catch. I wasn't even thinking about the draft being that day. So again, that one is pretty vague and seemed certain to come through for him.
