If Nurkic plays all of next season like he did down the stretch for Portland then yes, he's a legitimate piece of a title core. However, players have been hot before and not continued at that level. Dame/CJ are a BIG 2 Eric Gordon is nothing but the 267th best player or whatever number it was Harden, as a solo act then, led his team to a significantly better record BY HIMSELF than Dame/CJ did as a "BIG 2." And Portland, with already a "Big 3" with Nurkic, couldn't even take a game in the playoffs. Some Big 2/3.
