Considering that rumors about Portland being part of a deal have never been articulated by a credible source, i think it's fair to assume that they are not one of the teams that is part of an agreed upon deal. Honestly there are so many other teams that could be involved: Phoenix, New Orleans, Memphis, etc....

These negotiations have been played really close to the vest. If this trade goes through i expect to be surprised by the other participants.

I think the way this works is Morey calls people and asks what they would give up for Anderson. Portland offered Freeman and Harkless. They're trying to pull a Thunder-George type of thing: they know he won't re-sign, but they're desperate enough to give it a shot.
