I think tomorrow is the deadline for draft withdrawals. Guys like Tony Bradley, who are looking for a first round guarantee to stay and don't get one could possibly get a guarantee that if they don't get drafted in the second that a team will sign them and give them a minimum guaranteed salary.....or even more....to stay out of school and come to camp and either make the roster or get cut and pay as a free agent in dleague or earn one of those dual contracts after getting cut.

So what that does is give players the incentive to stop working out for teams if they get that guarantee instead of a first round guarantee. It de-incentives players from working out and getting drafted in the second. Why get drafted in the second and have to take a non-guaranteed deal and have to go overseas if they can cop out of the second round and still get paid like a late first rounder? Remember Gary Payton III last season? Not to mention Wiltjer and Taylor?

This distorts the whole second round. And makes the second round mute about owning players rights that are already playing overseas.

Tony Bradley fits this category and could indeed be a candidate to go underrated altogether. He's looking fit a first round guarantee to stay in the draft. So if he stays in the draft he very well could have that guarantee or he could have a guarantee of guaranteed salary by a team in the second round or if he goes undrafted. So if that happens, don't be surprised if Bradley shuts down workouts with some sort of injury (hamstring, etc.) after staying in the draft to help him disappear of the radar screen so he can sign with his team and get his promised guaranteed money.

Bradley is a perfect candidate for this. Needs more seasoning and experience. Can get it while getting paid without having to go back to school or go overseas.
