How were the Pacers able to give the Cavs much better competition than the Celtics???

Paul George could score whereas Boston relies on Thomas to do to much.

Celtics seem to be worse than every team in the West and about equal to the Trailblazers. Maybe even worse than the Trailblazers at full strength.

they obviously stand no chance against GS, and I can't see them beating the Spurs, Rockets, healthy Jazz, or healthy Clippers either. I think Westbrook would be able to beat them and the Grizz could beat them as well. If Nurkic is healthy and Dame and CJ are both playing great at the same time, then I could see them beating Boston too.

damn I wish we played in the East...

At least the Rockets didn't even try right? Celtics are trying but they just suck too much, we need to make sure Hayward understands the difference :D

yeah c's are by far the worst 1 seed in the history but that's in part cause the cavs didn't really fight for it.

i'll take the c's in a seven game series over a healthy blazers team for sure though. they'd prob beat okc too i think but that'd be a hard fought series that prob goes 7. does anyone know how they did against the west this year? reg season record might not mean much, but just curious

The top 16 teams need to be seeded accordingly for the playoffs. This is a farce. The best record in the Conference should be the "Conference Champion". Same goes for the division champs. The ratings are going to tank. Who wants to even watch that kind of beat down.

These playoffs have been the worst I can remember. Doesn't help being a Rox fan and seeing the Rox whimper out so pathetically.

Cavs suck. Didn't have a 50 point lead by half time. :D

What series were good this postseason? Spurs-Grizzlies might be the most exciting one which pretty much sums up how historically awful these playoffs are. I guess Raptors-Bucks was ok and Jazz-Clippers was decent although it was somewhat marred by the absence of Gobert and Griffin for part of the series.

That's pretty much it. The rest were either sweeps or filled with blowouts.
