Clearly you could see the guilt pop had on his face in the post game. He was sad although they won.

May be career ending to be honest. To be honest, was kinda sad to see him laying down on the court knowing it was over.

Game 3 on Friday though, must win game.

wish him well, this should not be the way to end a player's career no matter what team he's on.

    Sucks...

On a side note, this can also be a problem for the Spurs if they plan to free some cap space for Paul this summer, they'll have to send out pick/s to unload Parker after this injury.

No need to worry about this clown. Mike Dan Tony is the most powerful of all Tony Brothers.

Quad ruptures are like kind of like Achilles ruptures. 50% of patients are unable to return to previous activity level or sports. Happens a lot less commonly compared to ACLs. I'd say this is worse than an ACL. In either case, don't see him returning for minimum of 6 months

There won't be an asterisk if you can beat the Golden State Warriors b/c they are the best team in the NBA.

TP before he injured himself last night was going all out, you could see he was over doing it to try to gain explosiveness back (or quickness) and was torching us. He was noticeably quicier. But the body probably said no you ain't doing that no more.

Sad, I like the guy, but Spurs isn't that much worse off without him. Leonard is the key.

    Speedy recovery though TP

Yeah except they will have lots of cap space if him and manu both retire. Especially more of Pau retires or opts or to play with his brother for cheap. Plenty of space for a mac like cp3.

Ain't the NFL. NBA has a much better player's union. Most everyone in the NBA has guaranteed contracts ... except Ty Lawson, and DMo

also nba player union has a better bargaining position though.

nfl players have a very short shelf life, are very replaceable (other than qbs), and get injured way more. Big contracts for players are so much of a liability than an asset to team owners.

A long term big contract for stars in the nba are such assets. It removes fear of them leaving in free agency and allows you to build around them. Other than the quarterback position in football, you don't really build around those guys most of the time. The team is bigger than them. In the NBA star players are the team.

It is if you get a medical exemption with a physician saying he can no longer play
