    He is vastly overpaid.

DMo in his year as a starter had the same points and more rebounds......

Ryno - is what he is....a stretch PF, that probably should be coming off the bench.

In his year as a starter, 68% of DMo's points came in the paint. 17% of them came from 3.

That's exactly what the Rockets don't need at the 4 spot, in a D'Antoni system.

This year, Anderson has scored 61% of his points from 3, and just 18% from the paint. That's what the Rockets want, and need from the 4 spot.

They certainly don't need a plodding 7 footer to take up space, even if he has sweet footwork.

Plus Ryan Anderson has the potential to get really hot and drop 30. Dmo's never done that in his career and the last time he even dropped 20 was more than two years ago.

I think it's time to let the DMo obsession go. He was a nice player during that run without Dwight, but he's done little else in his NBA career to deserve any sort of hype, let alone be spoken of as the missing link for the Rockets to really contend for a championship.

Again all the dmo only fans will always be salty about Ryno. Dmo will never be and never was the true stretch 4 in this league. But hey the usual culprits will continue with their delusional takes.

I like Ryan's floor spacing and ability to get hot from 3, however, his rebounding and post D is horrible. Dude is softer than wet tissue paper. Yes he is definitely overpaid for what he's giving us and I feel that Chandler Wilson would give us more for less $'s.

has always been overly stated. people just feel the need to want to repeat default narratives no matter what. is he elite at those things no but definitely is not as horrible as some people try to make themselves believe. btw there isn't anyone in the league named chandler wilson...

DMO wasn't respected as a 3pt shooter and didn't offer the "gravity" that Anderson currently brings. That element is worth something on a team built around James Harden and "spacing." It's more than just "numbers."

That said, Anderson is overpaid and needs to produce more.

Has anyone been watching the games? We need Ryno healthy so bad it hurts. He is a critical element to this team winning.

Anybody that hates Ryno is a moran. Deadly 7ft shooter that can hit 3's 5 feet behind the arc. Stop looking for an escape goat. He can give you 5 easy assist if you just throw it at him with a defender. Excellent teammmate for anyone trying to pad stats

I like his super deep three balls, since it opens up so much space for teammates.

I have said this before and I will say it again.. Ryan Andersons contract will be toxic in a years time.... he has given us $10 million value for his close to $20 million dollar contract... def one of the least fav Rockets this year... Capella, Dekker, and Anderson in that order.

We are sorely missing the pick and pop threat. That opened up soooooo much space.

See, here's the problem with you: On one hand, you get on people for coming at you in a huff for liking a certain player, for better or worse. I'm with you on that. Everybody is entitled to their opinion, and it's fine. But then you say stuff like this, which you KNOW is inflammatory, and will get a rise out of people. You know full well that you just compared apples to oranges, and completely ignored simple things like team chemistry, and how a player fits in MDA's system. But instead, you post overly simple things like "hurr durr D-Mo had same number of points" while completely ignoring that Anderson spends 75% of his time outside of the paint on this team.

This was a troll comment by you, and I know I took the bait, but come on....you're better than this.
