NBA Game Action: 3/8/2017

Go T'Wolves, Rockets, Kings, and Celtics(I think).

 

I love the fact the Spurs have a back-to-back with the Kings and Thunder, and decide to rest KL & LA for the Kings game, to save them for the Thunder.

 

Listening to these punk ass bastards talk about mvp ALWAYS triggers me..

when Spurs win against the Kings, what will they say? Rockets don't win against no one if Harden sits..

Spurs are CBA team without Kawhi

 

A CBA team who can still beat a NBA team, though a bottom feeder one, not bad. It props up Kawhi MVP bid though, to have a CBA level talents around him yet still leads the team to the 2nd best record of the league.

 

I don't know why but I get a tingly feeling when I hear JVG refer to the Texans as "we"

 

Can you really point at an opponent like that and not get a T?

So the Spurs are gonna be the 1 seed. Time to accept that I guess.

It's over for Harden and his MVP campaign.. Harden had to be almost perfect down the stretch to get it.. He won't get it.. it's over. It's time to look for playoff seeding..

 

There's nothing to look for. They'll be the 3 seed, unless they absolutely choke and they'll then become the 4 seed. That's about it.

Either way, yeah, Harden's not winning. It's hard to overcome when you're not the darling.

 

Boston, Utah, Memphis - they don't have stars or superstars per se but they have damn good coaches & a good collection of parts that make their team.

 

I don't know if the Rockets will be the 3rd seed. That's why I think it's time to look toward playoff seeding. The rockets can absolutely choke just like Harden choked the MVP.

 

Don't think Harden choked the MVP. He's still playing very well. He just isn't experiencing the key wins. Unfortunate circumstances and obvious media fawning isn't going in his favor either.

Rockets might choke the 3rd seed, but I don't think so. They have a mildly favorable schedule, but we'll see. The inconsistency allows for anything, I guess.

 

I absolutely think he choked it.. The Challenge was set, it was unfair, but it was there. Harden was on the threshold and he choked it. The games that Rockets NEEDED to have were won.. until they were lost. Playing well was never going to be enough with this crop of nominees.
