HP we still managed to hoist up 45 three pointers. Lol I wouldn't say they chased us off. We just shot it from their poorly tonight.

Rebounding was an issue again tonight. They snatched 55 to our 39. In that 2nd and 3rd quarters our defense was nonexistent , especially in the 2nd when they scored 39 points.

Bottom line is we have to:

    1. Play better team defense.
    2. Rebound better.
    3. Stay focused. ( after going up 18-2 we got very lax)
    4. Make our shots.
    5. Do more than just shoot three pointers. (Coach messed up in his presser the other day basically given them the GREEN LIGHT to fire away from three. 50 a game coach, that's insane. Your offensive philosophy in Phoenix was not about shooting 50 three's a game. You had a lot of players movements and all types of screens. The midrange shot is a valuable commodity as well. Use it when the three isn't falling.

IF we can bring a player like D.Jordan, then there isn't the problem

Nope, looking at a trend. Nip it now or lose in the first or second round. We see the big picture while you're focused on the present.

It seems you're only here to troll about Harden. That same fat ass is leading the league in assists and has his team sitting 3rd in the west with a top 5 league wide record. Get life and a new obsession.

If you told me before the game Harden would shoot 17 FTs and the Rocket only turned the ball over 10 times I would have called it a dub easily. Last time we played Miami, Harden shot 16 FTs and we lost. Could it be the opponent is hacking him on every drive similar to the GSW with the belief that the refs can't call every foul?

When I turned on the game he was complaining about a non-call and he was reluctant to drive. The refs would wait until he missed to call the foul.

I didn't catch first half of game and the second half wasn't much better. I just have TWO things I want to point out.

    1. WHY the heck is Ariza not kicking the ball out on the Lou missed free throw as we're down 2?
He took such an ill advised shot where he pump faked about 3 times and might have gotten fouled but that was SO DUMB.

    2. On the Pacers next inbound play down 2, Harden is sagging off his man(Miles) in the corner. Miles hits the 3.
WHY is he sagging off his man in that spot? He gets his head turned and CJ Miles has such a good look from the spot he'd previously buried a few shots from. Why does James constantly over help? I've noticed this for a while. He's always late recovering on close out to shooters and it's why he gets burned. Helping on defense is cool and all but NOT ONE PASS AWAY when you can't recover in time!

Why can't someone in the organization get this through to him!?

    End Rant.

Some were. But they also had a lot of open ones that they bricked off the front iron. The real problem was that when it was clear the shots weren't falling and they were in the penalty with a lot of time left in the 3rd and 4th quarters, they needed to attack the basket. The Pacers were committing a lot of fouls. Take advantage of that and stop settling for the 3.

Nip what now? We're winning more than projected, it's all about keeping a healthy perspective on things. BTW we are in the West it's totally possible that we will lose in the first round. It's happened to the Clippers, it's happened to the Spurs it even already happened to us when we had bigs, you guys still managed to blame that on Harden BTW, lol. It happens to good teams in the West every year, there's really no use in panicking about. My biggest concern is that we sign a star in the next couple of offseasons. The Rockets are already overachieving expecting them to not go through times of hardship is really unrealistic, it's why its so funny you guys are talking about trends, it's hilarious. The overall picture is the Rockets are doing well, if you were expecting us to win it all this year or be the only team with one superstar to have a 60 win team you have mental issues.
