I sort of want the Rockets to trade Ryno for expirings and make a run at an all star FA this offseason.
I thought the same then realized no need to kill this seasons chemistry when we can dump him in the off-season if needed. The 20 mill cap rise in the off season will also help with moving him.
That would be an incredibly terrible idea. The Rockets should be able to create max space next off season even if they want to keep Anderson. They basically have no bad contracts that can't be easily moved unless you count Anderson as one.
Despite the physical taking place, looks like @BimaThug's widening of the Lou Williams trade is still technically possible throughout the day.
Bima, is it still possible to widen the trade after it's been submitted, or does a call need to take place in order to make it "done"?
If the Rockets lose Nene they need a solid athletic big with umph in return... It's team suicide to lose Nene and have nothing to counter Pachulia, M. Gasol. D. Jordan etc... We all know Capela needs more sand in his pockets to hold his position.
Nene isn't going anywhere. Dude took min and could have signed for more elsewhere. He took min as a solid to us cause he wanted to play here. We trade him what does that say to others who want to come here?
What about bogut? He's expiring. Yeah yeah, I know we hate him but we run a similar offense to GS in which he excelled and it would maintain off-season flexibility
Chandler has a vagina and Bogut is injury prone. A healthy Bogut would allow the Rockets to compete somewhat.
I am salivating at the thought of a second unit of... Lou Gordon Dekker Nene or Harrell Capela. Best in the league. I'm just praying for Tyson or bogut.

funny how bogut becomes inury prone again when he maintained a steady health for the previous 3 years with GS. He has absolutely minimal incentive to be motivated in Dallas. How he would be here in Houston, im not sure but likely a lot more reason to play than in Dallas.
