This. Harden said he wanted to be more of a leader this year but yelling at your teammates for every mistake while not giving maximum effort is not what a leader does. Lead by example bottom line. Harden is a great talent but his body language when things aren't going his way is a concern.

 

Damn man Regroup guys

 

I think these guys are just exhausted. Too many games in too short a time frame.

At this point, we've played more games than any other team in the league. Quite a few teams have played 4 or 5 fewer games.

The flipside is that after the All-Star break, we'll have one of the more relaxed schedules.

 

Worst part was the ad before the dumb video.

No not really, but is anyone on this team a top 10 player in this league??.....yeah didn't think so..!!

 

Give Harden a break. He's logged the most minutes of anybody in the league so far IIRC and no player is as important to a team's success as he is to ours.

Our team has hit a wall. Nagging injuries, players nagging about schedule, etc...

The all-star break can't come soon enough.

 

that kind of thinking is the problem....everyone needs to be held accountable. I wish we had draymond....at least he had the guts to chew out KD!

You did a much better job to defend Harden than he ever did on the floor.

Was wondering how long it'd take Sam to say something back. Bev tries to at times, but falls on deaf ears most of the time.

The team is starting to get frustrated after these losses, and Sam isn't the type of player that will just "Take it" from others like some of the other Rocket players. It'll get cleared up and talked through in the locker room, but James does need to calm it down with this. If a guy misses a rotation involving the player that James is guarding, Harden will let him have it, and that's all fine and good, but if it's James that misses the rotation, it's as if others are scared to death to call him out for it. Can't say I blame them when dealing with the most popular player, but Sam isn't the type to just let it go because its Harden. This is good for Sam and a good lesson for Harden as long as it doesn't evolve into anything more than this little argument.

 

well **** draymond green, no this kind of thinking is not a problem, James has been busting his ass all season long for this team and some night has shown his defensive abilities, what i was trying to imply is that James is the leader of this team and has every right to instruct his teammates how to play, watching tonight's game was so frustrating, everyone was turning the ball over and 0 defensive effort by the whole team.

 

When Tom Brady does this they call it "leadership"

 

Yea not like Harden is the most criticized player in the league or anything

 

Losing and frustration are evident. A few wins and the team can pull together. Let's get through to ASG, and start with healthy, injury free players. I think our team can make adjustments needed, and respond to the adjustments that are attacking our offense. I really want to see our team playing at it's best at end of regular season with everyone healthy. Do what it takes to get to that place.
