    He's been an NBA assistant coach for the past 5-6 years. Guy played like 8-9 seasons in the NBA. If you think being a player in the NBA for 8-9 years and then being an NBA assistant coach for 5-6 years is easy, then you do it. I liked Ryan. He was what he was. He wasn't out there for offense, but to switch the momentum of the game in our favor w/ energy & hustle, which sometimes also translated into halfway decent defense.

    I don't care about the ethnicity of a player as long as he has game. Ryan Bowen had defensive game (which is 50% of basketball). Given that we had the 2 of the top 5 offensive forces in basketball (Yao, McGrady), a little defense equated to more winning.

    Baker with the Rockets was soft--I blame his age/health. He was once a fantastic player. He was just trying to finish out his contract--can't blame him. He couldn't score the way he used to, couldn't rebound, & definitely couldn't play defense.

    That "talentless white stiff" managed to play 500 NBA games for 4 different coaches. I guess all of those coaches were out of their mind for playing such a useless player.

    I don't get the Ryan hate. Dude looked goofy but cashed 11 NBA checks for almost $9 million. All of us would most likely kill our mom for an NBA career like that.
