Friendly reminder that Pedro Gomez voted for Bill Mueller more than Bagwell and Biggio combined. I, for one, am glad to put an end to the mind-numbingly dumb voters for another 15+ years. Thanks to Hey Now, and enjoy the break, because we'll need you again once our current core retires. Wagner may need your help too, given the irrational disparity between him and Hoffman. Bagwell was always my favorite Astro, and quite frankly I always thought he was the clearly better player between him and Biggio. But such is life. It's sad that it's taken this long, but I'm so excited this day is finally here. Next step, WS ring. As a side note, the reason I posted this musing in this thread vs. the official "Bagwell Inauguration Day" thread is because I don't want to soil that thread with any reference to shitty voters like Pedro Gomez.
