eric gordon should be getting paid what anderson gets paid. he is way more productive than this bum. anderson is way too streaky to deserve 18+mil/year

We have to please refrain from constantly going back to this whole "DMo would have saved us" notion after every game.

    A. DMo is a 5 in the Rockets offense this year. Capela will outplay him this year when he gets back as will Nene, and likely Harrell.
    B. DMo had 1 point the other night. The game before he had 3. This is on a struggling NOLA team that is playing Terrence Jones heavy minutes.

Yes having depth is great and you shouldn't let good players walk for nothing obviously. But he wasn't saving anything this season. Anderson, and our other 4's and 5's are likely outplaying what he will bring this season even if they all still have faults in their game.

40% from 3 with 14PPG the real problem is why can't he shoot at home?

This is truly an issue. He can't measure at home. Something visually has him hosed. Maybe the empty seats in the lower bowl? I don't know. But rox need to try some psychological options. Hypnosis perhaps to fix this. The guy is 35-127 from 3 at home. That is 27.5%. That is ONLY 4 percentage points higher than COREY FREAKING BREWER's season average. That is horrid for your "stretch" four. That ain't gonna stretch squat. Hell Memphis was giving him some open looks. They know he has a bugaboo in our building. Hell go kick Osteen out and put up some goals at Compaq. If he can shoot there let Osteen have Toyota Center.

This seems to happen to every shooter that comes to the Rockets. All of sudden they forget how to shoot. I'm sure someone can put together a list of declining stats for shooters that have come to Houston.

I really think it has something to do with the red in the arena and fan clothing and the red In the rim.

That might explain why the Bulls also have had crappy 3 pt shooting

    I'm in on this theory.

Any optometrists on Clutchfans? We need to go overboard analyzing this theory with some in depth scientific analysis.

we would have lost some games anyways and then bad chemistry would have been the main culprit

In the playoffs, just watch Ryan Anderson will make this thread obsolete. He is not going to score consistently, he never has, but he will win you a game, or two in a series.

THIS Heat game is why you pay Anderson $18.74 million.

that p***y sitting out with a cold while guys like harden sweat it out every single game is why you don't pay him $80M. especially when you could have had speights for the minimum + a ton of extra capspace to play with

Yep. Felt a lot more hopeless on offense without Anderson there to space the floor.

we need andersons shooting. without it, harden had to do to much.
our spacing was horrible. Our offense became super predictable

With Gordon hurt and no Anderson this team is like last year. We jack up a lot of 3s without good 3 point shooters.

Harden has to sweat out all that alcohol from the night before...he HAS to be out there.

Anderson just had a few fruity drinks....he can sit a bit.
