It seems I have converted DD!!!!!

I told you guys a few games ago that this team was the 3rd best in the league and that it was going to take people another 20 games to catch on.

Rockets are legit, offensively they are brilliant and it's continuing to get better, I never thought I would say this but some possessions they pass too much.

Defensively they are trending the right way and have shown that when it matter they will get stops down the stretch which is fine for right now.

No team is playing basketball like this rockets team not even GS, they shoot less 3s and ISO Durant in the mid range a lot still. (Very efficiently I might add)

Imo the only team that can flat out beat us is the Warriors and I still think we're there biggest threat because we've proven we can beat them at there own game. Teams that win against them slow it down and frankly get lucky we played fast and there tempo and held the lead all game and came always with a win. That's harder to do than blowing them out.

Until we beat the Clippers consistently, I would place the Rockets 5th. I do think we overtake Spurs before the Clippers. Our bench is definitely much better than Clippers and Spurs

The interesting thing is that I think the Spurs are a better team than the Clippers. However, if forced to choose I would rather face the Spurs than the Clippers in the playoffs.

Of course either one would be a very tough series. But a lot of times it comes down to individual matchups.

I rank them 3rd on offense and 17th on defense. 5th over all.

Yes, well done Morey and Les for proving the naysayers wrong.

Cautiously optimistic. I still don't feel confident putting us ahead of the Spurs, Clippers or Raptors. Memphis also makes me nervous.

We are playing above my expectations though so I am happy so far.

Putting them ahead of the Clippers is fine by me, but I don't have a great feeling about that matchup head-to-head. I think they'd win a series against us with discipline and post play.

I think Jordan would tear our bigs apart. Don't see the lobs to Cap working against him.

Honestly it doesn't even matter regarding Clippers, they're going to implode via chemistry or injuries, one way or another, they're not a threat for the title, i just can't see it. I see Jazz being much bigger problem to us come playoffs (that's if we get to play them).

Deep down Rocket fans know this will end up being the 4/5 match up.

    Cavs, Spurs, Warriors, Clippers

That's who I'd put above us for sure at this point.

I know we lost at home to the Raptors, but I believe we're better than them.

Clippers have never gotten past the 2nd round. They always implode. Why do people continue to think they won't is beyond me. :p

They are at their best when feeding Griffin.

    1. Cavs

Then the rest. I think the Rockets, Grizzlies and GS are 2a, 2b, 2c, then the spurs and clippers are below them.

I do worry about the rockets defense and I worry about the grizzlies offense. GS, to me has the best offense, so the rockets, without a better d can't beat them. The grizzlies need a better offense to beat gs. GS, because of their defense this year, aren't as good as last year so to me the west conference is jump for grabs.
