With a glut of power forwards, the Knicks could consider buying out the last two years and $6 million of Othella Harrington's contract to get down to the maximum 15 allowable guaranteed contracts.

with our problem in P.F. ,Can we use his service here?.

I loved 'Thella...Hard Working, good defender, great jump hook, plus, he played for Van Gundy so he knows the system...I think JVG will try and sign him for the vet minimum...

Into the darkness of my vision
    I let my spirit rise
I wanna see the black hole, into the dark
I wanna dive into the black hole, down into the dark
Into the black hole, into the dark
Into the spiral, into the dark, the dark, the dark

    Have you guys gone NUTS?

If you look up black hole in the dictionary there's a picture of Othella my fella next to it!

And this comes from the same guys that say that Cuttino shouldn't be a starter because he demands shots...

Besides, JVG almost didn't play the guy when he was in NY.

What are you talking about Thanos? He started almost half the games in the 3 years in NY. Actually, his assists doubled since he left the Rockets, although that is not saying much. What's with all the b****in about him being a black hole. He makes 51pct of his shots. Give him the damn ball.

Harrington was very effective in the shortened 99 season with the Rockets. He has a knack for putting the ball in the hoop. The Rockets should try and get him back if they can.

I always thought Othella Harrington would be the one to take over for Hakeem. Mainly because they have their initials in reverse H.O. , O.H.

Of course that was stupid, but I think Othella could be a great forward/center off the bench now. Here were his stats for the past few seasons :

I'm sorry. I wasn't aware that he was that good. Maybe we should run our entire offense around him.

Geez. A starter at the 4 that makes 50% of his shots. What the Knicks could be thinking? Sign the guy right away! ;)

BTW, Van Gundy played him 18 mins per game back in NY.

    3.3 REB
    0.7 AST
    6.2 POINTS

Looks like he was truly in love with the guys game... and remember, the Knicks had NO PF at the time, as Kurt Thomas played mostly at the 5.

He might even be, but he doesn't play with a toothpick in his mouth, and that is hard to argue with.

The Pig brings all the intangibles and some tangibles no other player does!
