I don't post many threads man, but when I do, I post them about Jerry Stackhouse and Eric Gordon. Smoke on.
I said it a million times before and I'll say it again. People are crazy to write Gordon off simply because he has an injury history. He isn't washed up, he is a 27 year old guy that is just entering his prime. He simply needs a new environment, off the bench, and with less pressure and minutes to get healthy.
Jerry Stackhouse had an injury history before he joined the Mavs, but he made them a fierce team coming off the bench. He and Gordon have the same skill set.
Eric Gordon was so good when he was playing for the Clippers. Legit all-star caliber player, and I think he's not that far away from his prime.
silky smooth <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">EG making it look easy. <a href="https://t.co/PYqNUs6gev">pic.twitter.com/PYqNUs6gev</a></p>— Houston Rockets (@HoustonRockets) <a href="">December 3, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
True, but he got hurt and his stock fell off. Dallas picked him up and he became one of the best bench dudes ever. Sounds very similar to Eric Gordon. The real point here, is that Gordon and Stackhouse have very similar games.
Best signing of the off season. The exact type of guy we needed for the 2nd unit and next to Harden Forget his offense, We all know he is a legit scorer What impresses me most is solid D. The guy is small but he strong like an ox and has been a pleasant surprise defensively
Really? I thought it was with the post grant Hill era pistons. When Hill left Detroit, they were a mess. Stackhouse was the perfect case of top guy on a bad team getting inflated stats.
