Mike Conley suffers a vertebrae fracture

Just came to post this. Awful news for the Grizz.

 

They have been bitten hard by the injury bug last few years.

I wouldn't expect a major drop off.

 

Oh crap, that's awful. Conley is one of my favorite players too. They are screwed without him.

I feel bad for Conley. He is a fine player.

 

That really sucks.

From our perspective, this should really open the door for us to get the 4th seed and home court for the 1st round. granted, we stay healthy as well.

Great player, great guy. Feel bad for the Grizzlies, now they have nearly 50% of their Salary Cap money in a suit on the bench.

 

So Grizzlies got about $250MM of contract sitting on the bench in poshed up suits (Conley and Portions)

Nice luxury.

 

So that kills Memphis playoff chances.
