How can you not love the Spurs? DAMN what a game!!! Pop finds guys like Simmons, we get stuck with Brewers of this world for many years. Guess how long would Brewer be a Spur? Pop would pay from his own pocket to waive someone like Brewer

Hitting a buzzer beater to go into half time? Check
Coming from behind to block Curry? Check
Ending the game by sucking the oxygen out of JeVale McGee? Check

You're comparing over 30 Brewer with miles on him to a young upside player. Young Brewer was once a good player. Not the best comparison.

Spurs have have duds too like James Anderson. And vet wing direct comparison Richard Jefferson didnt quite work out for them.

Spurs do find some players though.

Nope, he's a Manu replacement. Bench needs him more than the starters do.

If he got offense this year, watch out. He's known more so for his defense. Reminds me of a longer version of lance stephenson.

The warriors are soft. And Pop knows damn well how to push them around.

I just cant hate the Spurs for doing what they need to to keep their starters AND bench deep enough to compete. This was a message game, and Pop wont be depending on resting Timmy for half the season like he used to.

Hey I don't event need him to actually be good. Even if he'll only show up against the Dubs he'd be one of my favorite else non Rockets.

It is weird to watch David Lee in Black and White Stripes, a Spur.

Not saying your point is incorrect, but Simmons is 27. They may have "found" him, but the truth is that he worked his tail off and remained amenable to improvement. He deserves a ton of credit.
