Long time Rocket's fan and forum reader but first post. With Boston waiving RJ Hunter, wouldn't he be a good young talent to play in this offensive system? I'd much rather have him on the roster than Brown. What are your guys thoughts?
I think what Mr.Haymitch was getting at was that he was not good enough to make the roster. Meaning he is not good enough to make our roster.
Seems like our front office has prioritized harden's happiness over improving the team. Brown should've been the first guy cut tbh. Hunter would help but the Rockets refuse to relinquish Brown. I highly doubt there's team out there salivating at the mouth to pick up Bobby ****ing Brown. But we are stashing him like he's starting pg material. This same team was quick to cut Shaun Livingston a few years back. Good players get cut, bad players need to be cut first. Morey if you reading this. Cut BOBBY BROWN. Fck what Harden says.
Haven't we already taken seconds from the Bucks roster? Hello, Tyler Ennis? That hasn't worked out so well Now we want someone that wasn't even able to make their squad?
Boston has a much better roster than us from players 2 to 15. It wouldn't be unbelievable that their 16th best player is good enough for our top 15. Would love to have him but can't see how we'd make room. I'm done with Brewer and over Ariza frankly, but we're not going to move Ariza or Dekker or McDaniels for RJ Hunter.
OOOPS. My bad. I though someone said he was jettisoned by the Bucks. Bucks, Celtics. They're both green. Give a guy a break
This guy has potential written all over him. He's a great shooter and would easily beat out Brewer and KJ in the rotation. Boston has so much talent that he never got a shot. Whoever picks him up is getting a steal.
I like this kid alot. He has a good feel for the game and is form is P.U.R.E "He's only played good against scrubs" Well Knuckleball Brewer can't even do that so why not lets do it. Where are we on the waiver wire?
The prevailing thought is that he won't make it past Philly and Brooklyn on waivers. If he does, I wouldn't mind claiming him
Celtics fans think Hunter is trash who can't shoot, something like our Brewer, but slightly younger. Let me put it this way: no one was upset when Celtics waived Hunter.
Would be an interesting pickup. Then again hes a 3pt specialist thats shooting 30% and cant do much else.
Harden being happy is more important than some scrub, if he told DM he wanted to keep his boy bobby as the last roster spot I don't have a problem with it, there isn't a huge difference between Ennis, Brown and RJ Hunter if it was NBA 2k they would be in the 50s or something, wouldn't make a huge difference no matter who you pick.
