There's a beautiful thing to being at rock bottom. Hardest part is seeing your way out of it. I hope that you feel free to holler at one of us. Even though most of us have never met, we'd be there to crack a beer in a heartbeat.
Buy a ticket to San Francisco and hit me up. I'll show you the city and we can do a ball game out here. My treat... as a matter of fact you can start your trip here in the Bay Area and then make a trip out of it and meet up with all of us out of towners throughout the country and get your mind off of this ish.
I just saw this thread...horrifying to read. Hope someone is able to get through to him before any irreversible damage is done. Wishing for the best for Roc.
Damn Roc look at all the love you have on here. You must be a good dude. Just hang on Rocket Brother!!!!
Hope you're still around and reading, old friend. I hope you didn't harm yourself while you were upset. The only advice I have to offer is that if you do it now, it's done. You can always do it tomorrow. I hope that the outpouring of affection here has persuaded you to sleep on it and that you're doing that now. I've been where you're at a lot of times. I'm still around because when I feel that hopeless I always put it off a day. I dearly hope you've done that and will wake up feeling at least a little bit better. Sending PM with my cell. I hope you'll use it.
I shot him a text as soon as I read this no response, hopefully we hear from him soon. Roc is a good dude who clearly is going through a rough patch.
Ok, can someone who know's him call the authorities? I'm not sure if it's just trolling or sincere but I'd rather chance it.
No update. I talked to him for 45 minutes last night, and another bbs member did after. Like I told you Roc Paint, you had me shaking. But we had some laughs, right, and connected a little. Then your last post...which I didn't see prior to my last one. He hasn't responded to texts or phone calls since. I just tried him again. Unfortunately, no one knows his new address. And Sheriffs need that for a welfare check. We've called them to no avail. Maybe Clutch can email his wife through the BBS??
They asked me for his carrier, but I didn't know. So, I'm sure there are ways. And if he were in Boulder, they'd find him. But in Houston, we have vague info in a city of 1,000s of calls each night. Three different ppl, and two different depts (HPD and Sheriffs) said "I will pass it to my supervisor." sounding partly annoyed that we had no helpful info. ATT provided more effort. But their hands are tied. Police have to call them. His wife has an account here, so there is an email address. ps: He was OK at the end of my call. But that last post scares me again.
