If you have to, McLane has really great wifi so you can just stream it but there is no place that will be showing it unless you somehow end up in one of the founders suites.

That WiFi went HARD! Caught the entire Aggie's game in HD. Great stadium.

I do NOT miss the new Big 12 football, man. There's no physicality, just lobs and chunks of yardage. There is no tension on 3rd down, just an automatic assumption that a 1st down will be converted. And the scale of the games... just doesn't feel the same as it used to.

I liked Baylor the past 2 years. This year, I don't think the defense can hang with anyone.

Outside of Bama/LSU it's the same in the SEC. Did you watch Georgia/Ol Miss/Tennessee/Florida/aTm? They're running just about, not quite but just about, the same offenses the Big 12 does.

It's not about the offense, it's the lack of defense.

Our defense is what won us the game. Really only gave up 17. Okie St had the ball inside the 20 3 times in the 4th quarter, 0 points.

Like I said, did you watch Tennessee/Georgia/Florida/FSU/PAC12?

The biggest difference I see is the size and play of linebackers.

Spread offenses kill. Unless you're Saban or Belichick, or Chavis maybe.

Oh, and **** Drayton and his stadium. I hope a fracking-well earthquake collapses the damn thing on a Wednesday.

Tough game. We're going down. Defense is so bad.

There is no attention to detail under Strong - they just don't play smart football, he could have declined that penalty making the FG a harder angle but he just goes along.

I don't think he knows how to manage the small things that make a difference....and our tackling is horrible - UT with their athletes should be up in the offenses grill and running the 4-6 - and blitz blitz blitz, instead they run one with little pressure and lay back and hope the opponent makes a mistake. It is the play not to lose instead of playing to win.

Bedford may be the worst defensive coach we have ever had.

#2 or #3 - there's no way. That defense is really bad. Higher? Sure. Not a top 3 team though.

Well that assumes that we don't lose the recruits and cut ties with a couple of good juco defensive players for no good reason. The defense would have been better and Jefferson (RB) would still be on the squad. Baylor is stacked at running back. I hope he's back next season to go with T Will and Hasty.

Most preseason polls had us starting the season around #6 before the debacle. Yeah we would easily be top 3

Former Baylor Title IX Chief Patty Crawford to Appear on 'CBS This Morning' [Turns down $50,000 offer to keep quiet]
    http://www.wacotrib.com/news/higher...cle_e6a3d8b4-3e55-5c02-8d41-a9d6c3d681fe.html

Baylor University officials avoided questions Tuesday after Patty Crawford, Baylor’s first full-time Title IX coordinator, resigned. Crawford, meanwhile, is set to air her issues with the university on national television Wednesday morning.

A press release announced her resignation 11:49 p.m. Monday night.

“Our understanding is that Patty was disappointed in her role in implementing the recommendations that resulted from the Pepper Hamilton investigation,” the university statement said, referring to recommendations made by the Philadelphia-based law firm the school hired to investigate its responses to sexual assault allegations.

“The University is grateful for Patty’s leadership in establishing fair and equitable Title IX processes that are also supportive of the needs of survivors. We will always seek to continuously improve and are confident that the very capable Title IX staff will continue the important work of educating, supporting and responding to the needs of those impacted by interpersonal violence.”

Crawford did not respond to interview requests Tuesday. Board of regents Chairman Ron Murff, interim President David Garland, Baylor spokeswomen Tonya Lewis and Lori Fogleman and Acting Vice President for Marketing and Communications Karen Kemp also did not respond to requests for comment.

Dallas lawyer Rogge Dunn, who represents Crawford, said there was a lengthy mediation session Monday with high-ranking Baylor officials. Dunn also represented Tom Hill, a fired Baylor athletics staffer, who last month removed his petition for the reasons he was fired, depositions from regents and Pepper Hamilton’s full findings.

Crawford is set to appear on “CBS This Morning” Wednesday to discuss her resignation and Baylor’s Title IX problems, a PR Newswire release confirmed.

“Ms. Crawford wants to make sure her story is told so the public knows what is really going on at Baylor and women there can receive the protection they deserve,” Dunn said in the release. “Patty is justifiably proud of what she was able to accomplish, but also profoundly troubled by what she views as Baylor’s efforts to impede her ability to fully perform her Title IX responsibilities.”

Media reports Tuesday afternoon indicated Baylor offered Crawford a $1.5 million settlement in response to a human resources complaint Crawford filed alleging retaliation against Reagan Ramsower, Baylor’s chief operating officer and senior vice president.

Ramsower stripped Crawford of her authority to handle Title IX complaints and accused her of “doing her job too well,” according to KWTX-TV, citing unnamed sources.

Crawford also balked at a $50,000 confidentiality agreement, the report said, and Dunn countered with a $2 million settlement, which Baylor refused. It was unclear Tuesday if a settlement was reached. Ramsower, who leads Baylor’s Sexual Assault Task Force, did not reply to a voicemail.

The Baylor media communications team did not answer questions regarding the mediation, nor questions regarding the future of Baylor’s Title IX leadership and the implementation teams Crawford led.

Crawford held the role since November 2014. She was hired more than three years after the U.S. Department of Education instructed universities to designate a Title IX coordinator, but months before the federal government recommended universities have a full-time coordinator.

    > Q&A: Interview with Baylor Title IX Coordinator Patty Crawford

A Tuesday afternoon message from Garland’s office, titled, “A Capable Title IX Office,” stressed the university’s focus to prevent sexual violence and respond appropriately to victims.

“The staff are equipped and fully available to assist those who make the brave decision to report an incident of sexual violence,” Garland wrote. “Despite this recent personnel change, the office continues to have a capable, professional team to do its work.”

Pepper Hamilton conducted a nine-month investigation into Baylor’s handling of sexual assault claims and found a “fundamental failure” by the university in its Title IX implementation, according to Baylor’s board of regents.

Pepper Hamilton gave Baylor 105 recommendations to improve its response to sexual assault, which the board of regents and interim President David Garland adopted as mandates.

Days later, Baylor announced the Sexual Assault Task Force and the Spiritual Life and Character Formation Task Force.

Within the Sexual Assault Task Force, Crawford was part of the 10-member action team. Also within the task force, Baylor announced 13 implementation teams covering specific areas.

She was team leader of two teams: Title IX Infrastructure, Resources and Internal Protocols; and Title IX Policy.

Crawford managed a five-person Title IX office, in addition to external adjudicators who determine responsibility in Title IX cases. She also worked with a case management team, support team and student advisory committee.

On May 26, the day the board released the findings from Pepper Hamilton’s investigation — though not the evidence to support the findings — Ken Starr was fired as president, and Art Briles was fired as head football coach. Ian McCaw was sanctioned as athletics director and later resigned.

Senior administrators handled Title IX duties before Crawford’s arrival, Starr has said.

Under Crawford’s leadership, Baylor’s Title IX policy has been regularly updated, including an August 2015 update providing amnesty for alleged victims.

“Basically, anyone reporting in good faith, or an alleged victim, if they come in good faith, consensual sexual things that might violate other university policies, alcohol things that might violate even law or other Baylor policies as well as light drug use, that’s all important to know in an investigation but it is not going to be used as a conduct violation outside of our scope,” Crawford said in a recent interview with the Tribune-Herald.

Before coming to Baylor, Crawford was chief of staff to the chancellor of Indiana University East, as well as deputy Title IX coordinator, chief diversity officer and affirmative action officer for Indiana University, according to Baylor’s website. She holds a bachelor’s degree in strategic communications from the Ohio State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Anderson University.
