I thought Lidge was mentally broken? What about Giles?

How did Gurriel look before he left the game? I see he had a hit and a walk. Did he put good wood on the ball? I had other obligations.

First hit was a liner up the middle. Great contact.

Wait...that can't be. Hinch must have taken him out for no reason.

Giles still has to get fixed before he can break. ;)

He should be up! He's ready!

Or not. Or so. The internet knows best!

He should stay down! Or he's ready now!

This is Monty Python level stuff.

Great job coming back and winning the series. Huge surprise!!

Stros playoff hopes still hanging by a thread. It's gonna be a huge uphill climb, but still possible.

Really need a 7-2 stretch here before that Texas series. Pirates have been faltering of late like the Astros. Then need to take care of business against Rays and A's.

we have a nice team, inconsistent due to the donuts at the bottom, but it's still a damn good team.

Things can change in a hurry. It's what I love about baseball. Baltimore faces the nationals for 4 games then NY. It should bring everyone in the race into a close playing field. Nobody's schedule is easy. May the hottest team come september win.

It ain't over till it's over. If the astros bat get hot we could be back in a hurry. We could even still win the division. I know it seems far fetched but isn't that what happened to the astros last year?

Last year the Astros were 4 games up (3 in loss column) on 08/22.

If the Astros can bring everyone back into this race, for sure it can happen elsewhere. This thing will tighten up before we know it. All we need to do is win.

they started the season as #1 and 2 pitchers, now they're more like 4, 5
