Saw Kellyanne Conway on CBSN. She did a better than the usual Trump spox of job of presenting Trump without the aggressive bluster, lying, and defensiveness that characterizes Trump spox. It was a softball interview but she gave answers that sounded like a professional. We will see how she manages once Trump is back out in public opening his mouth. If Trump doesn't giver her stuff to "clarify" she is gonna do a fine job. Looks like the Trump campaign may be about to become a legitimate campaign -- one that takes polls seriously, uses data to target voters, runs ads, tries to develop a ground game, etc.. We will also have to see how Bannon's influence plays out. I firmly believe there are people so tied to partisan lines that they just need Trump to stop reminding them why they shouldn't vote for him. I am not sure Trump can or even wants to do that. TrumpNews would be way better for his pocket book that a presidency.

Wow! That looks just like Donald Trump! I wish that statue sat in Zilker Park so the birds could poop on it, or over by the Congress Avenue Bridge, so that the millions of bats that pour out from under the bridge every evening could poop on it, or on the university side of The Drag so that tens of thousands of Grackles could poop on it. Funny. I'm disappointed though that -- apart from Cleveland -- they picked the 4 biggest bastions of liberal elitism they could think of to put these statues in. I probably would have done New York (it is the biggest city, after all, and Trump's hometown), Chicago, Dallas, Phoenix, and Atlanta.
