we played almost entirely 3rd string guys for the second half other than a brief cato and griffin cameo. portland trotted out the starting lineup for about the entire 3rd.

the score doesn't really matter though of course i always want us to win. no need for negatives based on that though. however jump all over moochie if you want. :)

Boki is not useless! He made a couple of shots...he still has some hope.

Congratulations to Zach Randolph! $50 for Joe's Crab Shack!

Alex Scales is like Hawkins but can shoot and has confidence. I like.
    Cornell is good...active...sign him.
Wilks is like a true point guard...can shoot too! Sign him!

    Francis/Wilks/Moochie
    Mobley/Piatkowski/Scales
    Jackson/AGriffin/Boki
    EGriffin/Taylor
    Yao/Cato/Cornell/Amaechi

Moochie is just sad. The Blazers looked good...they can all shoot.

We are still adjusting..Piatkowski didn't need to play. He's a veteran..he will know what to do when the season starts. Or maybe JVG doesn't like him.

I don't know about "Same old Rockets", but a tuff loss none the less.

I also am not taking to the new logo at all, and the unis are absolutely eye wrenching. Who gives a crap what they feel like they look terrible.

Have to keep Amaechi? What a waste of a good roster spot... can't we just kill him and say he disappeared on his yacht? No one will ever know...

Scales, Wilks, and Cornell definitely played great. Scales shoot well, and both he and wilks are fast. Forget Amaechi, if we must have a 3rd Center, I think we should go with Cornell.

edit: Also forgot about Gabe Muoneke, who played way better than Nachbar.

Mobley looked kinda ineffective out there...but everyone is learning the new system. I would still trade him for Artest.

Watkins...all right, but he's too skinny to play center!

Should also note that Griffin (Adrian), Piatkowski, and Yao did not play. While our starters had very limited minutes (Compared to Portland's). So I'm not worried or even judging the Rockets in this game.

Oh yeah and the turnovers were ridiculous.

Well, the only thing I can say about this outing is that the uniforms look good. Wilks is a quick guard who plays good defense, Alex scales shoots the ball pretty good and nachbar is straight up trash, and another thing how many turnovers we had? I stopped counting at 3.

What was the deal with that terrible intro song on the opening for Rockets basketball on TV 51!? Sounds like last years theme with some band playing in the BG.

Since the Rocks have this thing going on with the "R" as their logo and these stripes going down, think good o' Clutch is going to change the sites desgin to the new look!?

We have to dump this guy out to make the playoff, and can't afford any stupid turnovers more. Moochie is not a NBA player, please don't waste time to wait for his contract to expire.

It's preseason, everybody was ineffective. I can't believe people are judging the players and team on the first preseason game of the year, especially when the Rocks are adding a new system with new players, and playing with player that might not be on the team next week let alone for the season. Artest can stay in Indiana and self-destruct and drag them down, thank you!

Ok, EddieG might make a believer out of me. Boki, he still has no clue.

Cornell could be our Maddog Mark Madsen. Too bad we can't get rid of Amaechi.

I wasnt too sure about the uniforms but I liked them once I saw them in action. I also liked the way Cornell sets picks.
